If you own an older Phasor Marine model K3-6.5/8.0 KW unit, please note that these generator ends have been discontinued for over a decade. These compact units were designed for limited-space applications. Replacing the generator end will require installing an SAE flywheel and housing to adapt to the new generator end of your choice.
The necessary measurements are taken from the rear of the engine block to the rear of the generator end. Your current setup measures 11 inches. This will included flywheel, housing, mounting hardware, and a new control panel with a mounted circuit breaker.
